New Mums Club

Are you pregnant? Have you recently had a baby? Get together with other new moms or to-be moms to make friendships and discuss motherhood in Mexico City. Meeting locations vary but usually are at casual cafés, so we can enjoy getting out of the house and having a coffee or juice together.

Mexico Keepsake Quilting Club

No previous sewing experience is required, and you do not have to own a sewing machine. (We can share!) Planning and quilting will begin in June with November chosen to exchange our squares. So create a quilt square representing something you love about Mexico, then duplicate it for all of the members of the club!

Playgroup

Moms meet every other week to enjoy a chat and coffee while their kids play together. This is a free group for IWC members and $50 MXN for any nonmembers who would like to join.

Currently on hold due to covid.

When we are ready to meet again, would you be interested in being the club leader?

Stitching & Coffee Club

Get together weekly with other quilters, stitchers, and knitters to be inspired, to chat, or to work on your current project. Sometimes we work on specific projects together. Bring your own supplies. This is a free club for IWC members and nonmembers. All skill levels are welcome to join us.

Hiking Club

For those of you who love the outdoors and getting away from the big city, the Hiking Club meets once a month to enjoy a 2–4 hour hike. You will need sturdy shoes (hiking boots are best but sneakers/trainers are acceptable), hiking poles (optional, but a big help for anyone with knee issues), water, and some snacks.  Locations vary throughout the city. Please note that this is not a tour. This club is free to join; the only possible fees are if the park has an entrance fee. This is for adults and members only.

Walking Club

Let's get active, IWC! We have various walking clubs in different parts of the city: La Condesa, Nápoles, Reforma/Polanco, and Chapultepec. Walks are either weekly or every other week. One walking group involves taking out shelter dogs! Space is limited, so make sure to check the calendar and reserve your spot. Some groups like to linger longer and have a coffee or treat together after the walk.
