Basilica of Guadalupe Tour
IWC partners with Understand Mexico to bring you a fun walking tour.
Details: Our next tour will be to The Basilica of our Lady of Guadalupe. La Villa is the second most visited Catholic shrine following the Vatican! Join us for an unforgettable tour of the grounds of the site and a full Description of the history related to the appearances of the Virgin of Guadalupe. She is NOT only an iconic religious figure but the symbol which has unified Mexico since the country's independence. We will tour the extensive site, narrate the appearances of the Virgin, see the murals painted by Fernando Leal and several important chapels and structures as well as the shroud itself. We will discuss the importance of the Virgin's appearance from a cultural and historical perspective.

The cost of the tour does NOT cover transportation or entrance fees.
