IWC partners with Understand Mexico to bring you a fun walking tour.
A walk along the pedestrian street of Madero provides a glimpse into the layout, architecture and history of downtown Mexico. We will begin our stroll at the Palace of Fine Arts, making over half a dozen stops to see emblematic buildings (from the outside and inside) ranging from what is left of the San Francisco Convent Complex (originally the first and largest religious site in all of the hemisphere) to what once were residential palaces (today repurposed into restaurants, museums, hotels, posh shops, etc.). We will have the opportunity to visit a few small, specialized museums, ending our visit in the Zocalo, Mexico City's main square (a topic for another tour!).
