Baby Blankets for Newborns
Details: Once a month ladies meet to cut fleece fabric into blankets which are given to new mothers at a hospital in Atizapan. No sewing is necessary!
When: The second Thursday of each month from September through June, from 10:30am to 12:30pm (Check the calendar for specific dates)

Cost: Free! It is helpful, but not necessary, to bring your own scissors.

*New Event* IWC Hiking Club
Enjoy the fresh air, beautiful plants, catch up with IWC members and get your steps in for the day!
Details: For those of you who love the outdoors and getting away from the big city, the Hiking Club will aim to meet once a month to enjoy a 2-4 hour hike. You will need sturdy shoes (hiking boots best but sneakers/trainers are OK), hiking poles (optional - but a big help for anyone with knee issues), water, and some snacks. We will meet at the trailhead, and Lainie will send a pin so you can all see where it is located. Please note this is not a tour.

The hikes will take place in and around Mexico City and change from one month to the next (for example Ajusco, Desierto de Los Leones, etc.) Lianie will send a pin to the trailhead. Also she has a 8 seater SUV and am happy to fill it up (departing from a meeting location in San Angel).
